Bhool Bhulaiyaa has become a popular franchise, and the third installment, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is set to hit screens this Diwali. Promotions are in full swing, and a song featuring Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan was launched recently.

Speaking at the event, producer Bhushan Kumar revealed that Vidya Balan did not want to be a part of the second installment and therefore rejected Bhool Bhulaiyya 2.

It has now come to light that Vidya Balan declined the role because she was uncertain that the second part would succeed as the first did with the audience.

Vidya earned significant fame with Bhool Bhulaiyaa and didn’t want to risk her stardom by appearing in a sequel she didn’t fully believe in during that time.

However, as the second part became a massive hit, Vidya promised the makers she would join the third installment. The promos have been well-received, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 looks promising, with Kartik Aaryan and Madhuri Dixit in key roles.
