Actor Suriya suffered a minor head injury while shooting for his upcoming film Suriya44 (tentative title). The shooting was temporarily stopped following the incident. The second schedule of Suriya44 began in Ooty this month. The shoot was going smoothly until this incident happened. Karthik Subbaraj is directing the film.

Producer Rajasekar Pandian took to his Twitter and assured fans about Suriya’s health status. He wrote, “Dear #AnbaanaFans, It was a minor injury. Pls don’t worry, Suriya Anna is perfectly fine with all your love and prayers.” According to reports, Suriya has been advised to take rest for a few days.

On the other hand, Suriya is gearing up for the release of his PAN Indian film Kanguva, which was made on a massive budget. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the period action drama will open in cinemas on 10th October. Disha Patani is the female lead, while Bobby Deol plays the antagonist.
