Talented actor Sundeep Kishan was lauded for his performance in Dhanush’s Raayan. The movie became a huge commercial hit and further solidified Sundeep’s position in the industry. He will be next seen in a family entertainer, which is being helmed by Dhamaka director Trinadha Rao Nakkina.
Tentatively titled SK30, the non-theatrical business of the film yielded massive returns for the makers. The satellite and digital rights fetched Rs. 15 crores, while the audio rights were sold for Rs. 2.5 crores. For the past few years, there has been massive demand for the Hindi dubbing rights of Telugu films, and SK30 made Rs. 4.5 crores through Hindi dubbing rights.
On the whole, the makers earned a solid Rs. 23 crores just from the non-theatrical rights, indicating the craze for entertainers. The team plans to bring the movie to theatres during the Sankranti 2025 season. An official announcement is expected to come out soon.
Prasanna Kumar Bejawada, who played a crucial role in Dhamaka’s success, penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues. AK Entertainments, Hasya Movies, and Zee Studios are jointly producing this family drama. Leon James is the music director.
