Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, will be out in theatres this Diwali season. The movie is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan’s life and his inspiring heroics at the Line of Control. However, the film has now landed in unwanted trouble due to Sai Pallavi’s old interview.
During the promotions of Virata Parvam, Sai Pallavi made a big statement, which is now going viral. She said, “Our Indians will see the Pakistan army as terrorists, and in the same way, people living in Pakistan will view our Indian soldiers as terrorists. They think we are harming them. It all depends on one’s perspective.”
Netizens are going hard on Sai Pallavi, stating that our Indian soldiers never crossed Pakistan borders and that they didn’t kill innocent people there. A few are reminding the actress that terrorist attacks happen only in India and that they are done by terrorists living in Pakistan.
Netizens are not at all pleased with what Sai Pallavi said in the past, and a few are even saying that she doesn’t deserve to be part of Amaran and a film like Ramayan. The interview clips are floating around on X, and due to this, Amaran is all over social media for all the wrong reasons. Boycott calls are being made on her films, and we need to see whether or not Sai Pallavi will give clarity on this issue.
