Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy shooting for his 12th film with director Gowtam Tinnanuri. Bhagyashri Borse, who is making her Telugu debut with Mr. Bachchan, is the heroine of this as-yet-untitled film. Previously, rumors stated that Rukmini Vasanth of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello fame was considered for the leading lady role in VD12, but that didn’t happen eventually.

Now, a new report suggests that Rukmini Vasanth is likely to play the female lead in Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film with Ravi Kiran Kola of Raja Vaaru Raani Gaaru fame (tentatively titled VD14). The report mentioned that the team is in the final stage of negotiation with Kannada beauty and that it won’t take much time for her to sign on the dotted line.

As and when Rukmini heard her part, she is said to have shown interest in being part of the film, said the report. VD14 is an intense period action drama set in the Rayalaseema region. The leading Tollywood banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations, will bankroll the project.
