The much-awaited release date of Global Star Ram Charan’s highly anticipated political drama Game Changer is officially locked. The film is set for a grand worldwide release on December 20, 2024, in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Directed by Shankar Shanmugam, the movie stars Bollywood actress Kiara Advani in the female lead.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan has signed his next project, tentatively titled RC 16, with Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana. This high-budget film is back in the spotlight as a new addition to the crew grabs attention.
Aegan Ekambaram, the costume designer for Vikram’s Thangalaan, has joined the team for RC 16. Sharing his excitement on Instagram, he wrote, “This is my first time working in Tollywood, and I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. I’m grateful to director Buchi Babu Sana for this incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to collaborate with Mr. Ram Charan. This is a wonderful chance to explore new possibilities in Telugu cinema and learn more about its traditions.”
Pre-production is currently underway, and the film is expected to go on floors next month. Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the female lead, with Shiva Rajkumar also officially on board. The project is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Sukumar Writings and presented by Mythri Movie Makers. AR Rahman is the tunesmith.
