Ram Pothineni is undoubtedly a great crowd-puller. Unfortunately, the actor’s last two films didn’t get the expected result. Ram is now coming with Double Ismart, which also is an out-and-out mass film. Ace filmmaker Puri Jagannadh directed this flick. Kavya Thapar played the female lead.

The team started promoting the film through interviews, and in a special interview with Kavya Thapar and Getup Srinu, Ram revealed that he lost 18 kilos for Double Ismart. Ram Pothineni said, “I was very excited when I heard about the climax. I looked strong in iSmart Shankar with a chiseled body and wanted to maintain the same look for Double Ismart.”

Ram Pothineni added, “The shooting for the climax sequence was planned in November 2023, and Skanda released in September 2023. I didn’t have enough time to lose weight. We cannot postpone the shoot because getting the dates of Sanjay Dutt Garu again was a tough task. I went to Bali and kept myself away from my mobile phone for a month. I lost 18 kilos. I came down from 86 kilos to 68 kilos. But losing so many kilos in such a short time is not healthy.”
