It is already known that a lot of our film stars don’t have real hair on screens. Earlier, they used wigs and with the emerging technology, there are many new techniques available depending on how much one wants to spend on it.

However, an interesting revelation happened in a recent promotional interview with Lucky Baskhar. Actor-producer Rana Daggubati was interviewing Lucky Baskhar actors Duqluer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Rana asked Dulquer Salmaan how he had so much hair before saying that Dulquer takes a long time to get the hair done.

Dulquer quickly tried to compliment Rana on his hair but Rana honestly revealed that it is a ‘fixed head of hair’. Dulquer looked surprised yet he admits loving Rana’s honesty.

Meenakshi and Rana asked if it is a Malayali thing, Dulquer too said it may be the oil that they use in Kerala. Now that Rana himself revealed that his hair is a fixed one, many started wondering whose hair is real in the film industry. Well, that is a never-ending debate.

Kiran Abbavaram – A production company directly trolled me in their film

Kiran Abbavaram’s KA is releasing on October 31, with special premieres scheduled tomorrow. This mystery thriller is undoubtedly the most awaited film in the actor’s career. From the word go, KA makers got it right in every aspect. The teaser and trailer received a thumping response from the audience.

While the promotional material is very promising, Kiran Abbavaram’s emotionally charged speech at the pre-release function grabbed eyeballs. Kiran Abbavaram revealed how hard his mother worked to give him the best education. Kiran spoke about the hardships he faced in life and further addressed the targeted negativity against him.

He said, “I came to the industry to achieve something. Some say I am an MP’s son, while a few others say I come from a rich family. They don’t bother to do the fact-checking. Shouldn’t Kiran Abbavaram succeed in life? Tell me who supported me when I released SR Kalyanam Mandapam?”

Kiran Abbavaram added, “I got opportunities in top banners thanks to god’s blessings. I worked very hard, which is why I am standing here today. A few movies didn’t work, and then I began introspection. A production company directly trolled me in their film. I felt very bad. What was the need to do it? Did I ask them any favor? What harm did I cause you?”

Shobu Yarlagadda – RRR & KGF 2 had half the footfalls of Baahubali 2 | Latest Telugu cinema news | Movie reviews | OTT Updates, OTT

In a recent interview, Shobu Yarlagadda, the producer of the mighty Baahubali franchise, made interesting comments about ticket prices and footfalls. The Baahubali franchise, led by Prabhas, has collected over Rs. 2400 crores, with the second part alone contributing around Rs. 1800 crores.

Shobu Yarlagadda said, “If you look at the admissions (number of tickets sold), Baahubali 2 sold more than 10 crore tickets. During its release, the ticket price was capped at Rs. 125. The footfalls of the recent mega-blockbusters, including RRR and KGF 2, couldn’t come close to our film. They both had 50% of Baahubali 2’s admissions.

Shobu Yarlagadda added, “Upcoming films might touch Baahubali 2 revenue because now the ticket prices are capped at Rs. 300. In terms of admissions, Baahubali 2 stands next to Sholay. Amitabh Bachchan’s film sold around 13 crore tickets. Back in the Sholay days, cinema was the only form of entertainment.”

Shobu Yarlagadda’s statement raises concerns over the reduced footfalls and calls for more affordable ticket pricing. The exorbitant ticket fares for all event and tentpole films lately have become a huge burden for audiences. The ever-growing OTT trend is further diminishing the theater-going culture. It remains to be seen whether there will be any sort of correction within the industry.

Kiran Abbavaram is coming up with a new movie titled Ka. The film features Tanvi Ram and Nayan Sarika as the female leads. The film introduces newcomers Sujith and Sandeep as the directors for the film. The makers held the pre-release event today in Hyderabad, and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is attending the event as a chief guest.

Kiran’s wife Rahasya Gorak is a part of the film’s production and she has delivered a cute speech at the pre-release event.

“I am so happy that everyone is showering huge love on us, even before the release of the film. I thank Naga Chaitanya garu for gracing the event.” she said.

Later, she asked the fans and audiences to watch the film for her husband’s hard work. “I have three reasons for why you should watch the film. Watch the film for yourself. To overcome stress, forget the troubles and get entertained, watch the film. The second reason is to watch the film for our team. The entire team worked very hard and put enormous efforts into making the film. Please watch for ourselves. Thirdly, ma ayana kosam chudandi (watch the film for my husband),” she said.

“Kiran and everyone of us worked very hard for the film. I request everyone to watch the film in theatres. I am sure you all will love the film.,” she concluded her speech.

Singham Again Vs Bhool Bhuliaya 3: Pushpa 2 Cutout Into The Scene – Gulte

0

Unlike in the Telugu film industry, the theater war during a release clash in Bollywood is all open. The two biggies in Bollywood, Bhool Bhulaiaya 3 and Singham Again are locking horns on November 1, and needless to say the fight for more screens is on and getting wilder each day.

In an unexpected move, Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 enters this Bollywood fight and is heard to be making it one-sided. Bhool Bhulaiaya 3 distributor Anil Thadani, who is also the distributor of Pushpa 2 is luring the exhibitors with a free 30 feet cutout of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 outside their theaters if they agree on equal showcasing terns or better for Bhool Bhulaiaya 3.

Usually, the charges for cut-outs and standees are borne by the exhibitors, but the distributors are making the deals with exhibitors and it seems to be a crucial offer when it is Pushpa 2.

With Singham being a big franchise and the latest installment having a bunch of popular faces on one side and Bhool Bhulaiya being a successful franchise and hit aura on the other side, South blockbuster Pushpa 2 dictating the terms between them shows how big Pushpa 2 has become and how crazy people are about the movie.

Apart from the theater war, the two Bollywood movies are getting into loggerheads with other things too. Singham Again title track was composed by Ravi Basrur of KGF fame and he used Singham’s original signature title tune in the first 15 seconds. T-Series which is now producing Bhool Bhulaiaya 3 slapped a copyright strike on Singham Again track and made them removed from YouTube for some time.

However, the sharing of screens came to an agreement with equal numbers for both but Bhool Bhuliaya 3 seems to have an edge, according to the trade.

‘I will quit Movies if Ka Fails’ Says Kiran Abbavaram – Gulte

Kiran Abbavaram’s Ka will compete at the box office this Diwali against Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Bhaskar. Both films will be released on October 31. The Ka team recently held a pre-release event in Hyderabad, where Naga Chaitanya was the chief guest.

Kiran shared how his recent meeting with Naga Chaitanya in Chennai led him to invite Chaitanya, affectionately called “Chay Anna,” to the event.

“Despite his shoot tomorrow, he joined us here. That means a lot,” Kiran said gratefully.

Kiran expressed his gratitude for the support from the Akkineni family. “Akhil Anna supported me at the Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha event. Nag sir blessed us on the Bigg Boss set, and now Chay Anna is here. I feel very fortunate,” he shared.

And then, Kiran delivered an emotional speech, addressing all those who is criticising and trolling Kiran for quite sometime. Kiran shared his frustration over the misunderstandings surrounding his background.

“People spread rumors that I am the son of an MP or a politician. I don’t understand why some people don’t want to see me succeed,” he admitted. He even mentioned that a production house once trolled him directly in one of their films, questioning the reason behind this targeted criticism.

“I’ve had hits and flops—like everyone else. Just making a film and bringing it to theaters is an achievement. I did eight movies in 4 years. According to me, I am not a failure actor. I delivered four decent films.”

Addressing online criticism, Kiran urged people to think twice before trolling. “Yes, I’ve made bad films. It’s part of my journey. I can’t guarantee success in every project, but I promise to give my best,” he said.

With Ka, he emphasized it was an “honest attempt” and not necessarily a masterpiece, yet he stood by it confidently. “If anyone feels that Ka is a bad film, I’ll quit movies. That’s my promise,” he declared, underscoring the dedication he and his team poured into the film.
