Bollywood had a great start to the Diwali season, with Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 posting phenomenal numbers. Singham Again, fronted by Ajay Devgn, had low advances compared to Bhool Bhulaiyaa,3, but the masala entertainer took the lead over the horror comedy flick with strong spot bookings in mass centers.

The day one estimates for Singham Again are in the range of Rs. 45 crores nett. Given the mega clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, this can be termed a mammoth opening. Had it been a solo release, Singham Again would have posted much bigger numbers. On the other hand, the Kartik Aaryan starrer is said to have earned in the range of Rs. 35 crores nett.

With Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, both Ajay Devgn and Kartik Aaryan registered their career biggest openings. The clash has undoubtedly caused a dent for both the Diwali releases, but they will enjoy an uninterrupted run till Pushpa 2’s release.

The early reports are decent for both films, and they would look to capitalize on this holiday season. On Monday, we will get a clearer picture of where these biggies are heading. Anees Bazmee directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, while Rohit Shetty wielded the megaphone for Singham Again.

The most awaited film Pushpa 2 has started its strike. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was a sensation not just in Telugu but in all other languages to become a big pan-India blockbuster. Now the heat is already on with the second part with the USA bookings already.

Pushpa 2 The Rule USA bookings are already underway while it is still a month away from the release date.

The bookings storm has begun, with $50K gross from a few opened Cinemark locations. Pushpa 2 The Rule opened bookings for 554 Shows until now (Telugu – 328, Hindi – 208, Tamil – 12, Malayalam – 2, Kannada – 4). PLF and IMAX shows, along with full bookings, are expected to open by Nov 4th.

Pushpa 2 is becoming gigantic weeks before the release and it has to be seen when the actual Pushma mania starts in a week when the bookings open all over in North America.

Since the first part ended up as a blockbuster, Pushpa 2 has an advantage over the other two big films Devara and Kalki 2898 AD. Above that Pushpa 2 did extremely well in the North region. Considering these reasons, the openings of Part 2 are expected to be so huge that it might make a 200 Cr opening day gross.

Pushpa 2 The Rule is all set to hit the screens on December 5th, 2024 with US premieres on December 4th. Earlier it was December 6th, but to grab the benefit of a five-day first weekend, Pushpa 2 opted for the Wednesday premieres.

Director Venky Atluri has achieved remarkable success with Lucky Baskhar, featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The film has received glowing reviews from both critics and audiences. During a recent media event, producer Naga Vamsi and director Venky Atluri shared their excitement over the movie’s success.

Venky stated, “I’ve always wanted to create a film with a banking backdrop. While I typically focus on love stories, this time I wanted to do something meaningful, which inspired me to write the story for Sir. With Lucky Baskhar, I aimed to push the boundaries further and create something truly unique, which led to this story.”

He went on to say, “The movie is resonating with both young audiences and families. Surprisingly, even without fight sequences, the mass audience is enjoying it. Every time the hero wins, they feel as if they’ve won too, and that’s why the response has been so strong.”

Atluri also mentioned, “I conducted research on banking and shares. My father’s friend, Mr. Kutumba Rao, has extensive knowledge in these areas, so I traveled with him for a few days, learned from him, and integrated those insights into the story.”

“I’m glad to see that the dialogues are being appreciated,” he added. “I was inspired to enter the film industry by Mani Ratnam and Trivikram Srinivas, and you can certainly see Trivikram’s influence in my dialogues.”

Discussing Dulquer Salmaan’s commitment, he noted, “Despite being a star, Dulquer didn’t hesitate to perform a scene where he had to hold someone’s feet. His dedication is what makes that scene so well-received.”

After delivering a blockbuster with Bhagavanth Kesari, Nandamuri Balakrishna is coming up with another action entertainer in the direction of Bobby Kolli.

Fondly being called #NBK109, the stylish look of Balayya in posters and glimpses is exciting to fans. There were many rumored titles for NBK109 like Asurudu and Veera Mass among others.

According to the latest reports, the makers have shortlisted the titles ‘Daaku Maharaj’, ‘Sarkar Sitharam’, and ‘Asurudu’ for NBK109.

The title and teaser are expected for Diwali, but the graphics work delayed the announcement and it will take another ten days to be ready. Producer Naga Vamsi revealed that the title teaser will be out in November’s second week.

Well, many fans are inclined towards Sarkar Seetharam and Daaku Maharaj. Guess and pick one of your choice.

Pushpa has become such a national sensation and among many reasons, Samantha doing the Oo Antava item song is definitely one of them. Ever since the Pushpa 2 shooting started the speculations had many names for the chartbusting item song in the second part.

Samantha’s name too came up for the item number in Pushpa 2: The Rule, while there were other actresses’ names like Animal fame Tripti Dimri and Disha Patani, and the latest one to join the list is Shraddha Kapoor.

Though Shraddha Kapoor was almost confirmed for the song earlier, her high remuneration and low number of available dates pushed the makers to look for other options.

It is heard that the makers are looking at Sree Leela’s name in top preference and it is highly likely to be confirmed in a day or two. Sree Leela is known for her excellent dance moves and it is going to be a treat if Allu Arjun and Sree Leela pair for a sultry song. Allu Arjun and Sree Leela earlier acted together for a Aha App commercial.

With not much time in hand for the shoot, Pushpa 2 team is heard to be zeroing in on the heroine’s name within a week and reports say that it is Sree Leela who is going to shake the leg with Allu Arjun.

As a cherry on top, it is heard that the item song of Sree Leela with Allu Arjun will also have Samantha in it. It has to be seen who from Shraddha Kapoor and Sree Leela will sizzle in the most awaited special number. It looks like the song is going to shake the ground and it has to be seen what beat and lyrics Devi Sri Prasad has cooked.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Unstoppable is one of the most popular shows in the Telugu OTT space. After three successful seasons, the fourth season of the talk show was premiered a couple of weeks ago.
