According to the latest rumours, Naga Chaitanya and Sobitha will get married on December 4 in an intimate ceremony. The venue of the wedding is not confirmed yet. Kollywood star Suriya starrer “Kanguva” is getting ready on a grand scale. The film has kept the expectation meter spiking up. Featuring Suriya and Disha Patani in the titular characters, the film is directed by Siva. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is playing key role in the film.

The movie, which is based on the past-life concept, is the most expensive project of Suriya’s career. The film’s promotional material has impressed everyone. ‘Nayaka’ is a war song that showcases the tribal chief that is getting ready to fight. It also highlights his valor and fighting spirit. ‘Nayaka’ is powerfully composed by Devi Sri Prasad and written by Rakendu Mouli. The song is trending on social media for the stunning composition. The song will be a grand celebration in theatres.

The film will be released in 10 languages in 2D and 3D format on November 14th, 2024. The film is also being prepared for release in several international languages. Mythri Movie Distributors, a renowned distribution company, will handle the release in the Nizam area. The film features cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and musical score by ‘Rockstar’ Devi Sri Prasad. The film is bankrolled by Studio green in association with UV Creations.

Noted Tamil and Malayalam film editor, Nishad Yusuf was found dead in the early hours of Wednesday. The cause of death is yet to be known. According to the reports, Nishad’s body was found in his apartment Panampilly Nagar in Kochi at around 2 am today. He was just 43.

Nishad worked as the editor for Suriya’s upcoming pan-India biggie, Kanguva. He also participated in the film’s pre-release event, which was held just a few days ago. His death came as a huge shocker to the entire Malayalam film industry. Even the Kanguva team is yet to digest this heartbreaking news.

Nishad made his debut with the 2019 film Unda, starring Mammootty. Later, he worked on movies like Thallumaala, Operation Java, Kannalan, Saudi Vellakka, Exit, and Adios Amigo.

In Telugu, Nishad edited the movie Bubblegum, starring Suma’s son Roshan Kanakala and Manasa Chowdary.

Suriya is aggressively promoting the film Kanguva in the North and South. He spends most of his time in Mumbai, taking the film extensively to the public. He is aiming for big success in Hindi cinema. During the film’s promotions, Suriya spoke about the much-talked-about Rolex role from the film Vikram.

Suriya spoke about the thought process that went into playing Rolex on the screen. He shared that he did not receive the scene paper until the time he reached to the sets.

“I was very nervous that day, and we planned a half-day shoot. The director and the team were setting up the set for me, and later, Lokesh explained to me what to do,” said Suriya, explaining that he had put an end to his rule not to endorse smoking on the screen.

“I made a promise to myself that I would not smoke on the screen. But I am playing a bad guy, so why should I bring Suriya there? So, I opted to do that. I have not prepared anything for the role and all I wanted is to finish the shoot before Kamal sir comes because I can not act in front of him,” he said.

“It is a dream come true for me to act in Kamal sir’s production, and I credit Lokesh for making it smooth and easy for me. It gave us great confidence now to go and attempt a standalone film on the Rolex character,” said Suriya.

Directed by Siva, Suriya’s Kanguva is hitting the screens on the 14th of November.
