Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s latest film, KA, is creating a sensation at the box office, with trade sources declaring it a Diwali winner. Tanvi Ram and Nayan Sarika play the heroines in KA, which is produced by the director duo Sujith and Sandeep. The film is presented by Mrs. Chinta Varalakshmi and produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments, showcasing impressive production values. Producer Vamsi Nandipati released the film in Telugu. KA has received a superb response from audiences, achieving gross collections of Rs 13.11 crore in just two days. In this context, a success meet was held in Hyderabad.

Hero Kiran Abbavaram added, “You have given me a grand festival this Diwali with the success of KA. I thank all our Telugu audiences; mere thanks feel inadequate. Previously, the audience saw me as the boy next door, but now they consider me one of their own. The demand for tickets and additional screenings is rising. Many in the industry, including Aravind garu, Naga Vamsi garu, 14 Reels Ram, and Gopi garu, have sent their best wishes. We will be releasing KA in Malayalam on the 8th of this month. Telugu people in Tamil Nadu are asking why it hasn’t been released there after becoming such a blockbuster. I urge distributor Vamsi garu to arrange shows in Tamil Nadu. Families are going together to watch KA, and I’m thrilled to see full houses everywhere.

A crucial November for notable producer – Gulte

0

It is a rare scenario for a production house to have back-to-back releases in consecutive weeks. A crucial November awaits notable Telugu producer Ram Talluri because his production house SRT Entertainments will test the luck every week starting from this 14th.

The production house delivered six films so far and all of them turned out to be big duds at the box office. Films like Nela Ticket, Disco Raja, Chuttalabbayi, Kinnerasani left no trace. It now needs at least one big hit to end the flop streak and recover from the losses. Interestingly, all three upcoming films are made in different genres with a solid budget and promising production values. Two of them will have theatrical release this month.

Varun Tej’s upcoming period thriller Matka, which is aiming for a grand release on Nov 14th, is the biggest of all releases this month. The promotional content is very impressive as the teaser and the trailer struck a chord with the masses. It is billed as the massiest film in Varun Tej’s career. The strong buzz is likely to result in good openings. Karuna Kumar is the director.

Up next, young hero Vishwak Sen’s action drama Mechanic Rocky will release on November 22nd. The film generated adequate buzz because of Vishwak Sen’s popularity and due to decent content in the teasers. Ravi Teja Mullapudi is making his directional debut with this film.

The third attempt is Vikkatakavi, a mystery thriller, which will directly unspool on digital platform through Zee 5 on November 28th. It is billed as an intriguing drama with plenty of suspense and loads of twists. Pradeep Maddali is the director.

Why Prashanth Neel Gave Such A Film? – Gulte

0

With the successes of the KGF series and Salaar, Prashanth Neel became one of the most popular filmmakers in India.

Currently, he has Salaar 2 and a movie with Jr NTR in the lineup. Meanwhile, Prashanth wrote the script for the recently released film, Bagheera. Generally, there will be good buzz around the film when Prashanth Neel is involved in it.

However, Bagheera failed to gain that buzz only because the team failed to promote it in the name of Neel. Hombale Films invested a lot of money in a medium-range hero like Sri Murali only for Prashanth Neel.

But unfortunately, the movie failed to recover its costs. First of all, the movie’s plot is not interesting at all. It follows the story of Mangaluru ACP Vedanth (Sri Murali) who has been an ardent fan of superheroes since his childhood and aspires to be a police officer just to become like a superhero.

However, his aspirations are restricted by evil forces. In the process, he becomes vigilante Bagheera and starts attacking criminals at night. That’s when he happens to lock horns with Rana (Garuda Ram). What follows next is a typical commercial story.

Director Suri’s screenplay and treatment are very outdated, making Bagheera a tiresome watch. There is no emotional arc for the hero and thus, the audience fails to get connected to the story.

Even the love track with heroine Rukmini Vasanth is very weak. With all elements failing, Bagheera ends up as a huge disappointment and even Prashanth Neel fans were shocked to see such a story from him.
