In just a few hours, the epic blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD will arrive on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix globally. This Prabhas-starrer is expected to dominate the OTT platforms, and ahead of its release, director Nag Ashwin has debunked several popular fan theories.
One fan theory suggested that Dulquer Salmaan would return in the second part to reveal Prabhas’s true identity, but the director shook his head in denial. Another theory claimed that Prabhas’s character came from the future to save his mother, played by Deepika Padukone, which the director also dismissed.
Fans also speculated that Vijay Deverakonda would join forces with Prabhas to battle Supreme Yaskin, portrayed by Kamal Haasan, but Nag Ashwin put that rumour to rest. However, he found one theory intriguing, though he softly denied it: the idea that Bujji would transform into a white horse for Deepika Padukone’s son in the future.
The internet is buzzing with wild fan theories about Kalki 2898 AD, but we’ll have to wait another year to discover what Nag Ashwin has in store for the sequel and how he plans to surprise us all.
With a stellar cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Sobhana, Rajendra Prasad, and more, this ambitious movie, produced by Vyjayanthi Movies on a grand scale, features music by Santhosh Narayanan that promises to be unforgettable.
