Jayam Ravi and Aarti divorce after 15 years of marriage

Married for 15 years and parents to two sons, Kollywood actor Jayam Ravi has announced his divorce from his wife, Aarti, daughter of noted television producer Sujatha Vijayakumar. The actor shared the news on his social media profiles.
In a note posted in both English and Tamil, Jayam Ravi explained that the difficult decision was made after careful consideration and is based on personal reasons. He requested that everyone respect their privacy.
The divorce rumours began circulating a few months ago when Aarti removed their photos from her Instagram account. While the exact reasons for the separation are not publicly known, the couple is now officially separated.
