All eyes are on Raa Macha Macha, the second single from Ram Charan and Shankar’s highly anticipated pan-India political drama, Game Changer. While the song’s promo was unveiled on Saturday, the full song is scheduled to be out tomorrow (Sept 30) in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.
Ahead of Raa Macha Macha’s launch, Game Changer’s team released a video in which producer Dil Raju and the song’s lyricist Anantha Sriram discussed the soul of Raa Macha Macha and several other aspects of the movie.
Explaining the idea behind Raa Macha Macha, Anantha Sriram said that Shankar had asked him to come up with a song that showcases the protagonist’s (Ram Charan) humble nature towards his old friends even though he becomes a hotshot. “Macha” is now a universal word, and I thought it would resonate with today’s youths,” said the acclaimed lyricist.
Raa Macha Macha has been shot in Vizag and Amritsar, and it boasts of Shankar’s signature grandeur and Thaman’s peppy beats. Ram Charan’s energetic dance moves are said to be the highlight of the song.
Also starring Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Anjali, Naveen Chandra, and others in key roles, Game Changer is on track for a Christmas release.
