Kollywood star Vijay’s highly anticipated action thriller, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), is gearing up for its world release on September 5. The hype and expectations among fans for this high-budget entertainer are escalating with each passing day.

GOAT director Venkat Prabhu has been revealing several interesting tidbits about the movie in various media interviews. In his latest interview, the star director revealed that he initially wanted to title the film Gandhi, as Gandhi is indeed the greatest of all time. “The film is like a farewell to Vijay sir. So I wanted it to be titled GOAT to make it trendy for Gandhi’s character. Vijay sir took some days before finally approving the title,” said Venkat Prabhu.

Also starring Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva, Laila, Jayaram, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, and others in crucial roles, GOAT is produced under the AGS Entertainment banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the film’s soundtrack. The film’s next single will be out this evening.
