“Ghatikachalam” is an intense suspense thriller featuring Nikhil Devadula in the lead role. The film is bankrolled by M.C. Raju under the Oasis Entertainment banner. The psychological drama is helmed by director Amar Kamepalli. Meanwhile, ace director Maruthi and successful producer SKN will be backing the distribution of the film under the Mass Movie Makers banner. “Ghatikachalam” is set for a theatrical release on May 31st. Today, the film’s trailer was launched in Hyderabad.

Director Amar Kamepalli said, “‘Ghatikachalam’ stands out with high technical quality. The story given by producer Raju had a lot of novelty, which inspired me to bring it to the screen with top-notch execution. This movie is like a blend of emotion and horror, similar to ‘Bommarillu,’ but with suspense and thrills. There’s a strong emotional layer between a father and son. After watching the series ‘Adolescence,’ I realized we have some similar scenes. Youth mental health is a universal theme. We believe audiences will truly connect with ‘Ghatikachalam.’”

Hero Nikhil Devadula remarked, “I’ve acted in nearly 70 films as a child artist, but this is my debut as a hero. We’ve put in a lot of effort into ‘Ghatikachalam,’ paying close attention to every technical and script detail. The character I played was challenging because his behavior changes based on his mood. Thanks to SKN and Maruthi for releasing our movie, and thanks to all my co-artists. My friends and family are here today – everything I do is for them. I request everyone to support ‘Ghatikachalam’ when it hits theaters on May 31.”

Producer SKN said, “Director Maruthi first watched ‘Ghatikachalam’ and liked it and that’s when I got involved. It feels like you’re witnessing real events unfold. The film is engaging throughout and ends with a strong message. Horror is a great genre for new talent to showcase their skills. Anyone can tell their story effectively through horror. ‘Ghatikachalam’ is releasing in theaters on May 31. Horror fans make sure to watch it in theaters for the full experience of sound and background score.”
