The movie “Drinker Sai,” starring Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma as the leads, has garnered significant attention. Since its grand theatrical release on the 27th of this month, the film has been well-received by both youth and family audiences in all the locations where it was screened. The success meet for the movie was held today in Hyderabad. At the event, several team members shared their thoughts.
Producer Basavaraju Srinivas reflected on his first experience in the media as a producer. He shared that he has been involved in many service programs through the Bharat Seva Sahakar Forum and was honored with the Mask Man of India award during the lockdown. He praised director Kiran for his dedication and talent and spoke highly of the entire team’s commitment, including hero Dharma, heroine Aishwarya, and his son Laharidhar, who managed production. He was pleased that the film is generating profits while delivering a meaningful message.
Director Kiran Tirumalasetti expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Telugu audience for making “Drinker Sai” a success. He said, If you’re looking for a movie this weekend, besides Pushpa 2, I encourage you to watch ours. If you like it, tell ten people. Watch it with your family, you’ll definitely enjoy it. The film is doing well at Sudarshan theater, even on the second day. We will also be taking audience reviews and throwing a party on the 31st for those selected through a contest. Our goal is to make Drinker Sai accessible to everyone.”
Hero Dharma thanked everyone who contributed to the film’s success, saying, “I’m glad that we made a movie with a good message and that women and families are enjoying it. Some people say the first half is better, while others prefer the second half. But overall, the response has been positive, and there’s nothing more satisfying than knowing our distributors are happy. Our director Kiran’s making and vision made the entire team perform so well. We will be offering free tickets to the female audience who have supported our film.”
