The recently released Hollywood superhero film, Deadpool & Wolverine, has packed a solid punch at the global box office in its opening weekend. Fans of both superheroes from across the world have thronged theaters in massive numbers, and helped the film amass a gigantic gross in its first weekend.
As per reports, Deadpool & Wolverine collected a staggering Rs. 3650 crore in its 3-day opening weekend and registered the biggest opening for any movie released this year so far. In India, the film collected a solid Rs. 83.28 Cr in its first weekend, crossing the lifetime gross of both Deadpool 1 (Rs 40.79 Cr) and Deadpool 2 (Rs 69.94 Cr). Given the unanimous positive response from Indian movie lovers, the film is expected to have a steady and solid outing at the box office across the country.
Starring Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen in lead roles, Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy and produced under the Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment banners. Walt Disney Studios released the film in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
