Tamil star Suriya and his Kanguva crew members landed in Hyderabad yesterday to promote the film’s Telugu version. Suriya shot for a special episode of Balakrishna’s Unstoppable With NBK, and he will also shoot for Nagarjuna’s Bigg Boss today.
Suriya and Team Kanguva interacted with fans during a media interaction this evening. Talking about how his Telugu fans thronged theaters in large numbers during Surya S/o Krishnan’s re-release, Suriya got very emotional. “I didn’t have a theatrical release for 2 years, but when Surya S/o Krishnan came, you all were here. I literally got tears watching your love. Thank you so much for your love. It really means a lot,” said a visibly emotional Suriya.
Suriya went on to say that it is his responsibility to give his fans a wonderful theatrical experience. “And that is why Kanguva. We have taken two and a half years to give you a film that you have never seen,” said the star hero.
Suriya went on to give his fans valuable advice. “Kanguva is not about a fighter but a warrior. A warrior will stand for his people, his family, his friends, and his faith. Each and every one of you are my warriors. It will only make me happy if you chase your dreams like warriors. I want you to win big in life. Your 20s is very, very important. The way you love me and want me to grow, the same way I want you to achieve bigtime in your life. Make yourself proud first, and I’ll be more than happy. I love you,” Suriya concluded.
Kanguva also features Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in lead roles. The Siva directorial is produced under the Studio Green and UV Creations banners. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for this high-budget pan-India action fantasy drama, which is scheduled to open in cinemas on November 14.
