Sensational music director Anirudh Ravichander, acclaimed for his blockbuster tunes, recently ventured into the Telugu film industry with Devara: Part 1. The film, starring Jr. NTR and Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor, is directed by Koratala Siva and set for release on September 27, 2024, in multiple languages.
However, Anirudh’s work on Devara has drawn criticism. The first single, Fear Song, has been compared to Badass song from Leo, while the second track, Chuttamalle, is said to resemble Manike Mage Hithe by Yohani. These similarities have sparked controversy, with fans pointing out the alikeness.
Despite the backlash, Jr. NTR’s fans have shown strong support for the tracks. Nevertheless, it is essential for Anirudh to retrospect and focus on originality in his future compositions. Fans and critics alike hope to see him bounce back with fresh, distinctive music that reinforces his reputation as a creative genius.
