Popular choreographer Jani Master was arrested in a POCSO case and was sent to Chanchalguda Jail in September. Jani was booked after his former assistant filed a sexual assault case against him. The High Court in Hyderabad finally granted bail to the tainted choreographer, who reached home and met his family yesterday.

This afternoon, Jani took to social media and shared an emotional post. “A lot is taken away from us in these 37 days. My family & well wishers’ prayers got me here today. Truth is often eclipsed but never extinguished, it will prevail one day. This phase of life which my entire family had gone through, will pierce my heart forever,” he wrote. Jani also shared an emotional video of his meeting with his daughter, son, and wife. As expected, Jani’s post is receiving mixed reactions from netizens. While some are extending support to him in his fight, others are wondering how he was granted bail despite being booked in a POCSO case.

Jani’s family had to endure a lot of turmoil throughout his jail stay. While the Janasena party had suspended Jani from the party, the National Awards jury had cancelled his award for Best Choreography for Dhanush, Raashi Khanna, and Nithya Menen’s Thiruchitrambalam. On the other hand, the Telugu Film Chamber and Telugu Film and TV Dancers and Dance Directors Association (TFTDDA) had announced non-cooperation and also launched a probe into Jani’s case following the sexual assault allegations.
