Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma play the lead roles in the movie Drinker Sai, with the tagline “Brand of Bad Boys.” The film is produced by Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismail Sheikh, and Basavaraju Laharidhar under the banners of Everest Cinemass and Smart Screen Entertainments. Directed by Kiran Tirumalasetti, the movie is based on real events and is set for a grand theatrical release on December 27th. In an interview held today, producer Basavaraju Laharidhar shared the highlights of Drinker Sai.
My father, Basavaraju Srinivas, was a key figure in the PRP party and had a longstanding acquaintance with Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. When we were preparing for Drinker Sai, we shared the story with Chiranjeevi, and after hearing it, he gave us his blessing to proceed. With his encouragement, we began work on the film. He also appreciated the movie and suggested that we show him the songs. We believe we’ve chosen a great release date for the film, as not many films are scheduled for release on the 27th. We’ve given distribution rights to AP distributors and will be handling the release ourselves in the Nizam region. We’ve secured good theater bookings, and the censor process is ongoing. The first half of the film will appeal to youthful audiences, while the second half will resonate with family viewers. We have showcased some youthful elements in our promotional content to attract the audience to theaters. This love story will also carry a strong, meaningful message. “We aimed to make the production grand. We didn’t want to release a small film by any means. Sree Vasanth’s music has been well-received, and the songs are already hits. We collaborated with music director Hesham Abdul Wahab and featured songs by top singers. Additionally, Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose wrote a song for the film, which is becoming another highlight. The music is definitely a major attraction for our movie.
