Dharma and Aishwarya Sharma play the lead roles in the movie Drinker Sai, which carries the tagline “Brand of Bad Boys.” The film is being produced by Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismail Sheikh, and Basavaraju Laharidhar under the banners of Everest Cinemass and Smart Screen Entertainments. Directed by Kiran Tirumalasetti, the movie is based on real events. It is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on the 27th of this month. Today, the trailer for Drinker Sai was launched at Hyderabad’s Prasad Labs. At the event:
Director Kiran Tirumalasetti said, “I hope you all liked the trailer of Drinker Sai. The producer of this movie, Basavaraju Laharidhar, is the son of Basavaraju Srinivas Garu, a close friend of Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu. When I first told this story to Srinivas Garu, he suggested we show it to Chiranjeevi Garu and get his opinion. I then added a social element to the story and rewrote it. After that, GK Mohan Garu sent a message to Chiranjeevi Garu saying the story was good, and he replied that it would be fine. With his consent, Drinker Sai began production. If he had said no, the movie wouldn’t have happened. We made sure to include youthful elements to attract the youth audience to the theaters. I am confident that once the movie is released, my media friends will praise me for creating a good film.”
Hero Dharma said, “I have been passionate about movies since childhood. I used to dance to the songs of our star heroes’ films. I trained under Satyanand Garu, and I felt very happy when I got the opportunity to be part of Drinker Sai. Some people criticized me after watching the movie trailer, but I am confident that no one will have negative opinions after watching the full film. We performed a screening for elderly people, and none of the 100 attendees had any complaints—they all said the movie was good. I thank the entire team for giving me such a wonderful movie.”
