“Demonte Colony 2,” which comes with strong content, will be well appreciated by the Telugu audience.: Director Ram Gopal Varma at the pre-release event

The blockbuster horror thriller “Demonte Colony 2” is set for a grand theatrical release in Telugu on the 23rd of this month. Mythri Movie Distribution Company will handle its distribution in Nizam. The film is produced by B. Suresh Reddy and B. Manasa Reddy under the banner of Sree Balaji Films, with N. Srinivasa Reddy presenting it. The cast includes Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar, with Antti Jaskelainen, Tsering Dorjee, and Arun Pandian playing key roles. Directed by Ajay R. Gnanamuthu, the pre-release event for “Demonte Colony 2” was held in Hyderabad today, with guests including directors Ram Gopal Varma and Ajay Bhupathi, as well as producer Bekkem Venugopal.

Producer B. Suresh Reddy commented, “I thoroughly enjoyed ‘Demonte Colony.’ Since the announcement of ‘Demonte Colony 2,’ I have been closely involved with director Ajay Gnanamuthu. The movie’s release was delayed due to VFX work. The original film was a big hit in Tamil, and I hope it will achieve even greater success in Telugu. The thriller elements are particularly impressive. Ajay R. Gnanamuthu is a technically skilled director, and his previous works like ‘Anjali IPS,’ ‘Cobra,’ and ‘Demonte Colony’ are highly commendable. We are confident in his talent and are releasing this movie in Telugu with great anticipation.”

Heroine Priya Bhavani Shankar said, “We appreciate the support from Telugu producers for ‘Demonte Colony 2.’ We are thankful to all the guests who attended the event today. The special premiere of our movie received a positive response. The Tamil version has impressed audiences, and we hope to replicate that success in Telugu. We encourage everyone to watch ‘Demonte Colony 2’ in theaters on the 23rd of this month.”

Director Ram Gopal Varma said, “I made a film called ‘Bhoot’ twenty years ago, which took place in an apartment. After its release, many people were afraid to enter apartments for a while. Ajay Gnanamuthu told me that after ‘Demonty Colony,’ there was controversy over the colony’s name. This film was already a success, and now it’s being released in another language. I am confident that producer Suresh Reddy will continue to make good films. Although I have not seen the premiere, there has been positive feedback from those who attended. Today, smaller films are becoming successful based on their content, while larger films are struggling. There is a trend towards content-driven cinema, and I hope ‘Demonte Colony 2’ will be well-supported in Telugu as well.”
