The last few years have been forgettable for Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. The actor has delivered as many as 8 disasters out of 10 releases in just 2 years. Akshay’s flop movies reportedly incurred a huge loss of over Rs 1,500 crores.

Unfortunately, it looks like there’s no respite for Akshay even with his new film, Khel Khel Mein. The comedy entertainer was released in cinemas worldwide yesterday (Aug 15). As per the latest updates, with a total nett of Rs 5.23 crore, Khel Khel Mein took a slow start at the box office on its opening day. The film needs to pull off a miracle to gain strength and post decent numbers in the long weekend. The film’s day one collection was largely impacted by the other two I-Day movies, Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and John Abraham’s Vedaa.

Khel Khel Mein is a remake of the 2016 Italian film, Perfetti Sconosciuti. The film also features Vani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. The Mudassar Aziz directorial is produced under the T-Series, Wakaoo Films, and White World Productions banners.
