As he gears up for the release of his upcoming film Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda is promoting the movie in a unique and creative way. He recently played a pickleball match with Mumbai Indians batter Tilak Varma. Before the match, Vijay challenged Tilak, saying that if he lost, he would wear the Mumbai Indians jersey. In the best-of-three format match, Vijay’s team won 2-1. The video of the match was shared by the Mumbai Indians team on social media and has since gone viral.

The video is receiving massive attention from both netizens and celebrities. Responding to the viral clip, Vijay requested Tilak Varma and Rajangad to create a reel using the Hridayam Lopala song from Kingdom. He also mentioned that he would attend the playoffs in Hyderabad and support the Mumbai team. Today (Tuesday), Mumbai Indians are set to face off against Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium.

Kingdom is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners, presented by Srikara Studios. The film, directed by the talented Gowtam Tinnanuri, is a spy action thriller and is scheduled for a worldwide grand theatrical release on May 30th. The film has already created significant buzz and high expectations.
