Director Ramesh Varma has been in showbiz for almost two decades and made a handful of films but only Rakshasudu was his only notable success. His last film was Khiladi, starring Ravi Teja. Despite releasing with decent expectations, this movie bombed at the box office.
This evening, Ramesh Varma announced his new project with Raghava Lawrence. Koneru Satyanarayana will be bankrolling the project.
According to the grapevine, it is going to be a remake of the recent Hindi Hit, Kill. Initially, many tier-2 heroes and big producers tried grabbing the remake rights of this movie but eventually, Koneru seems to have grabbed the opportunity.
Made on a shoestring budget, Kill was a big hit at the box office. It is being remade into Hollywood as well. Audiences are quite surprised to see Lawrence doing this movie. As of now, he is busy with the works of Kanchana 4 and is expected to start the Kill remake after completing that movie.
