Raayan is the latest release from Kollywood, marking Dhanush’s 50th film as a hero and his second as a director. The movie features a notable cast including SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidasu Jairam, and Dushara Vijayan in key roles. It has recently garnered attention with its announcement of premiering on OTT space.
According to the latest update from Amazon Prime Video, Raayan is set to make its grand debut on August 23, 2024. It will be available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. As the highest-grossing Tamil movie of 2024, with earnings of around Rs. 150 crores, it has made a significant impact at the box office.
Although the film did not receive much recognition in the Telugu states, it remains to be seen how it will be embraced by OTT viewers. Produced by Sun Pictures and featuring a soundtrack by AR Rahman, this A-certified action drama also stars Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, among others.
