There seems to be no stopping for the epic ‘Maha Block Buster’, Kalki 2898 AD, in theaters. In the days of not even having 2-3 weeks of theatrical run for a movie, the high-budget sci-fi drama reaches a moment of glory in terms of theatrical run.
On this Independence Day, Kalki 2898 AD completed its 50-day theatrical run, adding another feather to its cap. Nag Ashwin’s dream project was released on June 27 and has created several box office records nationwide.
Today, Vyjayanthi Movies, which produced the epic movie, shared the moment of glory on its X handle as, “Proudly celebrating 50 DAYS of Kalki 2898 AD”. Talking about the audience, “A big thank you to our incredible audience for making our film flourish across the world,” added the production house.
The Prabhas-led feature film stars legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in key roles. The movie cast also includes notable actors Sobhana, Rajendra Prasad, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, and several others in prominent roles.
